Welcome to our Instructional Design (ID) Dictionary. We are building it as we can and hope that other adept and talented members of our industry will help us build a layman’s styled dictionary that can benefit many readers. Our goal with our wiki-based dictionary is to:
- share easy-to-understand definitions for popular terms in the ID industry.
- give non-ID folks such as Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Content Information Providers, and other individuals integral to the creation of a training piece a source for comprehending terms they may encounter.
- provide a refresher on terminology for those in the ID field.
