Everyone has said it to their mom as they see their favorite dish being prepared – “Is dinner ready yet?” How long will it be until you sink your teeth into that delectable dish?
Well we at DishingDesign wonder that too; but our question is about how long it takes to develop learning solutions, not about your tasty dinner.
Dr. Karl M. Kapp and Robyn A. Defelice, MSIT have put together a survey to obtain input on the topic of development time for learning materials for a planned publication for a major industry e-zine. We are seeking to determine industry averages based on complexity of the delivery method.
This survey targets those that contribute to the development of learning materials based on the ADDIE model. This means if you do any part of “A” through “E” we would like to gather your input. If you are interested in participating in this study and contributing to its findings please visit our survey page.
The survey is designed to ask some basic questions about your educational, job, and industry background. We then move into asking about minimum and maximum hours you spend in developing one hour of learning.
We consider this survey to be basic in terms of the information we are compiling; however we are working on a more detailed survey that asks for more specificity around the development of the learning materials. We are also looking for participants for this survey, if you are interested please fill in your contact information at the end of the survey. You may participate in both surveys.
We appreciate your assistance and look forward to your responses. When the article is published we will be certain to provide the link!
